After downloading E-button firmware to RZ/T2L-A and RZ/T2L-B, connect the block wires from E-button to PMOD of the controller board. Red box below is where to connect the block wires. It is the left corner of the PMOD.

The idea is to pull up pin 10 which is connected to RZ/T2L with modified E-stop firmware. By pressing the E-button will disconnect pin 10 from 3.3V and gets pulled down to ground.

The male pin connector has 6 blocks and 3 pins. This connector connects to pin 5,6,10. Please connect with arrow symbol facing up like in video on this webpage.

Left is power, Right is ground. The side with ā€œGā€ on board is for ground.

Above is pull from only motor control system. The draw will be higher if used for both Beckhoff module and motor control system which could be over 7W.

Due to the pull from motor connected to inverter, it is recommended to use a separate 24VDC power source to below EtherCAT module.
